My name is Ryan, and I am a graphic design student from Maine. My love for art started when I was younger and was heavily inspired by my mother.

My mom has always made things from drawing, to wood burning, crochet and many more. I took after her with creativity, always trying to create along side her, which is why I started crocheting with my first project being a bouquet of flowers for her on Mother’s Day. Since then I have found my style in tapestries, working from grids of other’s and grids that I’ve made myself.

I became interested in graphic design in my junior year of high school when I took a multimedia class for two years. While in the program I explored photography and found that I really enjoyed it, and was encouraged by my instructor.
